Body Metrics
Body Metrics is a personal health dashboard that connects to your Bluetooth weighing scale, records your measurements, and shows your body-composition trends over time. This page explains what data it holds and why.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address, and (if you sign in with Google) your name, used only to create and identify your account.
- Your profile — height, sex, birth date, activity level and unit preference, which you enter yourself. These are needed to calculate body-composition metrics.
- Measurements — the weight and impedance read from your scale, plus the metrics calculated from them (BMI, body fat, muscle, water, and so on).
How your data is used and stored
Your data is used only to show you your own dashboard. It is stored in a private database (Supabase) and protected by row-level security, so each account can only ever read its own records. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than running this app for you.
Bluetooth
Reading the scale happens directly in your browser over Bluetooth. The raw signal never passes through a third party — your browser talks to the scale, calculates the metrics, and saves the result to your account.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual readings from your history at any time. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email arpitgoyal.iitkgp@gmail.com and it will be removed.
